Our Commitment to Tomorrow

Sustainability: the key ingredient in our business.

As a company based in India, sustainability is more important than ever, and our business is no exception. We're inspired by all we see around us, and are committed to doing our part to promote sustainability. As a food company its not only enough to use green fuel, but we also have the opportunity to reduce food waste, and address food insecurity. By donating excess food, promoting sustainable agriculture practices, and supporting environmentally-conscious food start-ups, we hope to create a more equitable, sustainable, and resilient food system for everyone.

Increasing Crop Yields

One of the ways that TJUK is addressing climate change is by working with farmers to promote sustainable agriculture practices. The company believes that sustainable farming practices can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, protect biodiversity, and improve soil health. To this end, TJUK works with farmers to implement sustainable practices such as reducing tillage, using cover crops, specialized irrigation and rotating crops.

With increasing pressure on our producers due to changing climates, increasing populations and geo-political instability, we believe this is a impactful way to build a resilient food system.

Supporting Start-Ups

We recognize that to make a real difference in the food industry, we need to support other businesses that share our commitment to sustainability. That's why we're proud to offer our expertise to environmentally-conscious food start-ups. We believe that by working together, we can create a more sustainable and equitable food system.

One area we're particularly focused on is plant-based food start-ups and NGOs that are reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable agriculture practices. By sharing our knowledge and expertise with plant-based start-ups, we hope to help them succeed and make a positive impact on the food industry.

Balancing the Scales

Food insecurity is a major issue in India, and we're committed to doing our part to address it. One way we do this is by donating excess food to those in need. We work with a local charity named Each One Teach One and food banks to distribute food tand short term relief to people who might otherwise go hungry.
